BizTalk – Monitoring Console

Based on our experience with BizTalk Server, we have created a special console for monitoring the operation of this platform. The console allows for checking and controlling of business processes carried out by BizTalk Server. The tool simplifies the process of maintaining and monitoring the final solution.

The BizTalk Server monitoring console is based on MOSS Architecture and Reporting Services, which provide a variety of reporting mechanisms. Data are collected in SQL Server databases by BAM, Performance and Reliability Monitor, and the mechanisms of ESB Toolkit.

The console offers a variety of graphs and overviews, which show:

  • number of orchestration made at a fixed time interval,
  • total processing time and response time of individual components,
  • performance key indicators,
  • processes in which errors have occurred,
  • number and description of errors,
  • throttling parameters.
